Celestial Convergence: The Beginning
1000 years ago, the World of Lyssa was struck by 4 meteorites. Each one of these meteorites contained a composition of a gemstone. The 4 gemstones were; Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Topaz. However, these 4 gemstones each had a secret, divine power that affected anyone who came in contact with the gemstone.
The first stone Emerald granted the user the power of Life and Balance. Being able to control nature, the environment etc. The second stone Sapphire granted the user the power of Ice and wisdom. Being able to control water, and ice etc. The third stone Ruby granted the user the power of Fire and Passion. Being able to control fire and energy etc. The fourth stone, Topaz, granted the user the power Light and Knowledge, being able to control aura and health.

Kingdoms United: Peace & Harmony
Each one of these gemstones was found in different parts of the world. Emerald was found in northeastern part of Lyssa, in the land known as Lirali. Lirali was home a to King who ruled Lirali with compassion and honesty, harvesting the power of emerald gemstone to provide his kingdom with growth and prosperity. Sapphire, was found in the southern part of Lyssa, in the kingdom of Terian. The Queen who ruled material used the power of the Sapphire gemstone to provide her land with peace and order. Ruby, was found in the southwestern part of the world, in the kingdom known as Niveen. The King of Niveen used the power of Ruby to bestow ambition and creativity to his land. The final gemstone, Topaz, was founded in the northern part of Lyssa, known as Harrowind. Harrowindwas home to a King who used the power of the Topaz gemstone, to give warmth and wisdom to his land.
Mankind learned to develop relationships with one another resulting in the world of Lyssa to fall into a period of tranquility and peace. The four main kingdoms lived in harmony, until one day the King of Niveen, developed a greed for wanting more power.

Shattered Alliances: The Downfall
Eventually, this greed for power overcame his mind making him infatuated with wanting the other gemstones to gain more power over mankind. As much as the King had a variance for power, he knew that he would not be able to gain control over the power of 3 other kingdoms by himself, therefore reaching out to the Queen of Terian, promising equality in power, trade, communication, and money. This was all false promises, that the King used again the Queen to entice the queen to help him. The King of Niveen and the Queen of Terian, lead their armies to infiltrate and seize power of Lirali. This was due to the fact they knew that the Kingdom of Lirali was had a smaller army and defensive compared to the kingdom of Harrowind. The King of Harrowind eventually learned the of the betrayal of two other Kingdoms and decided to aid Lirali against them. The King of Harrowind sent all resources, armies etc to the Lirali and thus marked the beginning of the diamond war. The war between two sides raged on for 60 years, bloodshed upon bloodshed occurred throughout the years. Ultimately, the war gave up. Power was lost, innocent people were killed, cities were destroyed, resources were depleted, all hope was lost.

Forging Unity: The birth of Academies
Upon realizing their mistakes and selfishness alongside the major effect of the war had happened, the 4 kingdoms decided to unite together and lock away the gemstone for the greater good. But knowing the evils of the world would want to obtain such a relic, the 4 kingdoms decided to sit down together and form the academies of the world. An academy was formed in each of the kingdoms, but the formation of the Obsidian Academy marked the end of the true end of the war. The main aim of the academies is to give students the best training in order to prepare them for success in the competitive and dangerous world we live in.
